FireArrest FPL Comp Terms

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the FireArrest FPL League Competition (the “Competition”) conducted by FireArrest (“the Company”). By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

• 2.1 The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who work in the firestopping industry.
• 2.2 Employees of FireArrest and their immediate family members are welcome to enter the Competition but are not eligible to win the prize.
• 2.3 To be eligible to win, participants must:
  • follow FireArrest on at least one of the Company’s official social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook.

AND

• • like and share the FireArrest FPL Post.

3. Competition Entry

• 3.1 The Competition involves participating in the FireArrest FPL League.
• 3.2 Entry to the Competition is free of charge.
• 3.3 To enter, participants must join the FireArrest FPL League by creating a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) team and joining the designated league by the closing date.
• 3.4 The closing date for new entrants is 30/09/2024. Entries received after this date will not be considered.

4. Competition Duration

• 4.1 The Competition will run for the duration of the Fantasy Premier League 2024/2025 season.

5. Prize

• 5.1 The winner of the Competition will receive an Amazon voucher to the value stated below:
  • £100 if the winner is not a user or not an employee of a company who is a FireArrest customer.
  • £250 if the winner is a user or is an employee of a company who is a FireArrest customer.
• 5.2 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
• 5.3 FireArrest reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

6. Winner Selection

• 6.1 The winner will be the participant whose FPL team accumulates the most points during the Fantasy Premier League 2024/2025 season.
• 6.2 In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant who made the fewest transfers during the season. If a tie still exists, FireArrest reserves the right to determine the winner based on additional criteria at its discretion.
• 6.3 The winner’s eligibility will be verified, including confirming that they follow FireArrest on social media, and liked and shared the post as outlined in section 2.3.
• 6.4 FireArrest employees and their immediate family members, although eligible to participate, will be excluded from winning the prize.

7. Notification

• 7.1 The winner will be notified via email within 14 days of the end of the Fantasy Premier League 2024/2025 season.
• 7.2 The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within this period, the prize may be forfeited, and FireArrest reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8. Publicity

• 8.1 By entering the Competition, participants agree that FireArrest may use their name and image in any publicity material related to the Competition.

9. Data Protection

• 9.1 Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant’s prior consent.

10. General

• 10.1 FireArrest reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Competition and these terms and conditions where necessary to ensure the fairness and integrity of the Competition.
• 10.2 FireArrest’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• 10.3 The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
